Established by George Tutty in 1946, Tutty’s handmade shoes is a family business committed to providing the finest handmade footwear. We cater for all tastes and have a wide variety of styles and patterns. Our range of footwear includes traditional leather handmade shoes and boots, equestrian boots and orthopaedic footwear Tutty’s are looking to hire a shoemaker to join our team. The role is a full-time contract, working a 40hr week. The role included will be to take the lasted upper, build, attach and finish the sole and heel.
Requirements
• Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a shoemaker
• Be proficient working with leather, EVA and rubber soling
• Be proficient at finishing leather, EVA and rubber soling.
• Have experience working with orthopaedic footwear.
• Have the ability to mutli-task and to use one’s initiative to solve problems
• Have a proficient level of English (at least C1 Level)

Condition
The role is a permanent full-time contract, working a 40hr week
