PERMANENT CHEF IN NORWAY
(Porsgrunn, Norway)

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for A CHEF the restaurant offering ala carte, kebab, pizza, café, bar and has also musical entertainment for guests on certain evenings. The restaurant is seeking a passionate, skilled chef who creats delicious meals for our costumers.
The main tasks:
• Opening and closing the kitchen.
• Ensuring that all food is of excellent quality and served in a timely manner.
• Planning the menu and keeping in mind budget.
• Overseeing all kitchen operations.
• Placing orders to replenish stock.
• You will be responsible that the food delivers meets the highest quality standards.
SKILLS:
• Culinary school degree/diploma or experience as a working chef.
• Knowledge of the art of cooking is an advantage.
• Creativity.
• Understanding of kitchen economy.
• English speaking (or Scandinavian): B1.
• Have the ability to work under pressure with good decision-making skills.
• Interested in food, Gentle and outgoing, Service minded, Flexible.
• Good collaboration skills – both with chefs and younger staff.
• Ability to work quickly, independently, structured and systematically under pressure.
PLACE OF WORK: Porsgrunn, Norway,
WORK CONDITIONS:
• season and permanent position, from July 2022, start after agreement.
• full time, close to 8 hours/ day, working hours are varied scheduled for daytime, evening,
and weekends.
• Accomodation: Offer flat for accommodation
• Salary: According to the agreement and Norwegian tariff/regulations

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are looking for A WAITRESS/WAITER the restaurant offering ala carte, kebab, pizza, café, bar and has also musical entertainment for guests on certain evenings. The main tasks:
• Providing excellent wait service to ensure satisfaction.
• Make menu recommendations, answer questions from guests.
• Taking customer orders, delivering food and beverages.
• Preparing bills at the end of the table's meal.
• Responsible for asking customers if they are satisfied with their meal and providing any assistance should the customer not be satisfied.
• Anticipates the needs of customers and provides all services in a friendly manner.

SKILLS:
• Experience as a waitress/waiter.
• Patience, personality and perseverance to thrive in this role.
• Excellent coordination skills. Expert multitasking ability.
• Great organizational skills.
• Exemplary work ethic in a high-pressure environment.
